ladder glitch

i also am unable to climb the ladder in the tower, it just turns me around. i wish the “real-time” feature, that changes from day to night, could be turned off. the visuals are what have kept me coming back to this game for twenty years, so there’s nothing thrilling about swinging a flashlight around in the dark. and myst island is surrounded by grey fog, where is that beautiful blue sky? it’s a wonderful game but so far I much prefer the iOS port — beautiful, cheaper and (in my experience) glitch-free. fix the ladder please!
